Call for papers
V. INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF DOCTORAL STUDENTS IN DANCE RESEARCH
The Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences,
University of Szeged; the Department of Ethnology at the Faculty of Humanities,
University of Debrecen; the Folk Music and Folk Dance Section of the Hungarian Society for Ethnography;
and the Hungarian Association for ethnochoreology
are jointly organising a conference for
doctoral students and candidates conducting research in the fields of dance and dance music.
Date and Venue of the Conference: 22 November 2025 (Saturday), Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Szeged (6722 Szeged, Egyetem utca 2., Hungary)
We offer the possibility of online presentation for participants coming from abroad.
Presentations will be 20 minutes in length followed by a 10 minutes for discussion. Applicants are requested to submit an application form including an abstract (120–150 words) in English. Applications should be sent electronically to etnokoreo@gmail.com.
